Payment Policy:

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE AGREEMENT CAREFULLY BY USING THIS WEBSITE OR ORDERING PRODUCTS FROM THE COMPANY, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT.

DEFINITIONS

Company” means Trip Leela (“also termed as “tripleela.com”) exclusively deals in the booking of holiday land package.

"Service Provider" means hotelier or hotel owner, owner of any airlines or shipping company or railway ferryboat owner, coach owner, or any other person or organisation which has been selected to render services to the traveler.

" Package" means a LAND PACKAGE (excluding flight) operated by tripleela.com & FLIGHT (if part of the package) sold on Traveler request basis only by tripleela.com domestic or outside of India, but is not limited to, brochure tours, special tours, packages, cruise, sightseeing, carnival, cosmos, star cruise, etc.

"Package Cost" means the total booking cost of all the services booked by the traveler for his/her tour.

"C Fees" means a non-refundable fee or token money deposited with tripleela.com at the time of booking by the traveler.

"Infant" means a person below the age of 2 years and “Child” means a person above the age of 2 years and below the age of 12 years.


tripleela.com accept payments only through

  • Credit/Debit cards

  • Net banking

  • Bank transfers

  • Cheque (bank deposit only)

  • Cash Payment up to INR 1,50,000 is only accepted as per the government rules for a single transaction (single trip), this can be deposited in our account post written confirmation from tripleela.com operations team. In case any cash deposit done above INR 1,50,000 for a single booking (single trip) or any cash deposit done to tripleela.com account without written confirmation from tripleela.com operations team, the entire amount will be declared to IT department and forfeited as per government rules and regulations.

NOTE:

tripleela.com offers a flexible payment policy to make your dream vacation a reality. Payment needs to be done on the date of confirmation to initiate the bookings for your Holiday. Based on the number of days to departure, the payment schedule is curated and shared below.

Points to be Noted on Payment Policy

  • Gateway charges are applicable on credit/debit cards.

  • The traveler agrees that any increase in airfare, visa charges, fuel surcharges, govt tax, etc before the travel date, extra amount tranche must be paid by the traveler.

  • The traveler agrees that tripleela.com reserves the right to cancel the booking if payment is not received as per the payment schedule shared at the time of booking. The traveler also agrees that in this case, tripleela.com has all the rights to forfeit the paid amount for the particular booking if payment is not received as per the payment schedule shared at the time of booking without any advance intimation to the traveler.

  • The traveler agrees that if any cheque towards the payment is dishonoured, tripleela.com , without any notice to the traveler, shall be entitled to cancel the entire booking without any liability and take recourse to appropriate legal remedy.

  • Final documents/vouchers and airline tickets will be shared with the traveler only after 100% payment is received by tripleela.com from the traveler.

  • tripleela.com is not obligated in any circumstance to provide a break up of the invoice for each of the services included in the land package.

  • Since flights are sold on a request basis only, a separate invoice will be raised for the flight booking amount.

  • The Traveler agrees that in case of GST invoice is required on his/her company’s name, the information and GST details need to be shared with tripleela.com at the time of booking. Post conversion tripleela.com will not be able to accept this request.

By paying the advance payment traveler confirms that he/she have read and accepted all above terms & conditions and Policies of tripleela.com

 

Domestic Payment Policy

Cancellation Policy:

Land Package

If the Tour is canceled for any reason what-so-ever the following cancellation charges will apply:

Cancellation procedure for land package

  • Cancellation due to any change in destination status including  but not limited to altogether non-operational due to any such guideline/ SOP, tripleela.com shall not be held responsible. Cancellation charges will be as per the cancellation policy of hotel, transporter and any other service provided involved in the particular booking.

  • If you wish to cancel your land package send us an email at  ops@tripleela.com (Mail to be sent between 10:00 Am to 5:00 Pm on a working day, mails received after 5:00 Pm will be actioned on next working day).

Points to be noted on the cancellation policy

  • The cancellation amount is deducted but not limited to the cancellation policy advised above, In addition, there may be additional cancellation charges as applied by the contractors/service provider in case the amount exceeds the cancellation charges applied by tripleela.com

  • For dynamic/non-refundable hotels/services like Atlantis the Palm, ferry tickets, water activities, tour activities etc, tripleela.com cancellation policy may not be applicable and 100% cancellation might be applicable from the time of confirmation.

  • Any change in the arrival date, the hotels may have cancellation charges depending on the time of the request.

  • Please note, TCS once collected cannot be refunded in case of any cancellation. You can claim the TCS amount as adjustment against Income Tax payable at the time of filing the return of income.

  • tripleela.com reserves the right to change the cancellation policy without any prior notice depending on the travel date & destination.

Flight Booking

All flight bookings made on tripleela.com are subject to cancellation charges levied by the Airline in addition to tripleela.com cancellation as specified herein below, which may vary by flight and booking class. You may note that some of such bookings may be non-refundable as per the respective airlines' policy.

You are strongly advised to keep a close watch on guidelines/SOP etc issued by various Central/ State/ Country specific government/authorities for Air travel during COVID 19 relating to your travel destination.

Cancellation procedure subject to change as per  airlines' cancellation policy

  • Cancellation due to any change in flight schedule including but not limited to altogether suspension of flight due to any such guideline/ SOP, tripleela.com shall not be held responsible. Cancellation charges will be as per the cancellation policy of airlines and/or any other service provided involved in the particular booking.

  • If you wish to cancel your air tickets 72 hours before your scheduled flight departure, contact the airline directly or send us an email at  ops@tripleela.com (Mail to be sent between 10:00 Am to 5:00 Pm on a working day, mails received after 5:00 Pm will be actioned on next working day).

  • For cancellation within 72 hours before departure, you'll need to contact the airline directly to get your reservation canceled. For cancellation requests within 72 hours before departure, tripleela.com will not be able to provide 100% assistance for these cancellation requests.

Points to be noted on the cancellation policy

  • For some airlines, cancellation needs to be made at least 72 hrs before departure. Failing to do so, may result in being a no-show. Trip Leela will not be responsible in case the airline denies making any changes or cancellations if the above-mentioned timeline is missed.

  • For flight booking confirmed on special fare, promotional fare and fixed departure fare is non-refundable or attract high cancellation charges as per airlines terms and conditions.

  • tripleela.com is merely a facilitation platform providing easy and convenient access to reservations. Due to the volatile nature of the aviation industry, airlines may delay and default in the refund of tickets, tripleela.com shall be able to process customer refunds against flight tickets cancellations only if the same has been refunded by the respective airline/supplier. In the event an airline discontinues its operations, tripleela.com will not be accountable for any customer refunds wherein the same has not been refunded by the airline.

  • All cancellations requests are valid only when communicated in writing to tripleela.com by email of the traveler from which booking is made and upon confirmation of the same in writing by tripleela.com, for any cancellation request, our contact address is ops@tripleela.com

  • The amount is deducted but not limited to the cancellation policy advised above, In addition, there may be additional cancellation charges as applied by the airline/service provider in case the amount exceeds the cancellation charges applied by tripleela.com

  • Bookings are non-transferable, if requested will be considered as fresh booking and cancellation charges on the existing booking will be applicable.

  •  Any change in departure/arrival date may have cancellation charges depending on the type & time of the request.

  •  tripleela.com reserves the right to change the cancellation policy without any prior notice depending on the travel date & destination. 

  • For dynamic/non-refundable flights tripleela.com cancellation policy may not be applicable and 100% cancellation will be applicable from the time of confirmation.

  • In case the trip is being canceled by the traveler or tripleela.com due to natural calamity, government orders, strike, curfew, etc. cancellation policy would be applicable based on cancellation terms offered by the airlines or any service provider of tripleela.com.

  • The traveler agrees that tripleela.com being an agent for facilitating the booking services shall not be responsible for any such circumstances and the customers have to contact that service provider directly for any further resolutions and refunds. The maximum liability of tripleela.com in such events will be to refund the booking amount subject to receipt from the airlines or any service provider.

  • There can be exceptional circumstances where airlines may be unable to honour the confirmed bookings due to various reasons like business exigencies, government decisions, terrorist activity, any operational and technical issues, route and flight cancellations, etc, or any other reason beyond the control of tripleela.com, If tripleela.com has advance knowledge of any such situations where dishonour of bookings may happen, it will make its best efforts to provide a similar alternative to the traveler or refund the booking amount after deducting applicable service charges, if supported and refunded by that respective airlines/service provider. The traveler agrees that tripleela.com being merely a facilitator of the services and products booked, cannot be held responsible for any such circumstance. The traveler also agrees to pay the extra cost arising due to such circumstances for the trip continuity.

  • Traveler's need to keep a check on the flight timings and movement as they are quite dynamic in nature and might be subject to frequent changes from the service provider. We advise you to check 48-72 hours prior to your flight departure on possible changes in flight timings/status.

  • Any change in the arrival date contractors/ service provider may apply cancellation charges depending on the time of the request.

  • tripleela.com reserves the right to change the cancellation policy without any prior notice depending on the travel date & destination.

Flight booking

All flight bookings made on tripleela.com are subject to cancellation charges levied by the airline in addition to tripleela.com cancellation as specified herein below, which may vary by flight and booking class. You may note that some of such bookings may be non-refundable as per the respective airlines' policy.

You are strongly advised to keep a close watch on guidelines/SOP etc issued by various Central/ State/ Country specific government/authorities for air travel during COVID 19 relating to your travel destination.

  • If you wish to cancel your air tickets 48 hours before your scheduled flight departure, contact the airline directly or send us an email at  ops@tripleela.com (Mail to be sent between 10:00 Am to 5:00 Pm on a working day, mails received after 5:00 Pm will be actioned on next working day).

  • For cancellation within 48 hours before departure, you'll need to contact the airline directly to get your reservation canceled. For cancellation requests within 48 hours before departure, tripleela.com will not be able to provide 100% assistance for these cancellation requests.

Points to be noted on the cancellation policy

  • For some airlines, cancellation needs to be made at least 48 hrs before departure. Failing to do so, may result in being a No-Show, tripleela.com will not be responsible in case the airline denies making any changes or cancellations if the above-mentioned timeline is missed.

  • For flight booking confirmed on special fare, promotional fare and fixed departure fare is non-refundable or attract high cancellation charges as per airlines terms and conditions.

  • tripleela.com is merely a facilitation platform providing easy and convenient access to reservations. Due to the volatile nature of the aviation industry, airlines may delay and default in the refund of tickets.

  • tripleela.com shall be able to process customer refunds against flight tickets cancellations only if the same has been refunded by the respective airline/supplier. In the event an airline discontinues its operations, tripleela.com will not be accountable for any customer refunds wherein the same has not been refunded by the airline.

  • All cancellations requests are valid only when communicated in writing to tripleela.com by email of the traveler from which booking is made and upon confirmation of the same in writing by tripleela.com, For any cancellation request, our contact address is ops@tripleela.com

  • Bookings are non-transferable, if requested will be considered as fresh booking, and cancellation charges on the existing booking will be applicable.

  •  Any change in departure/arrival date may have cancellation charges depending on the type & time of the request.

  •  tripleela.com reserves the right to change the cancellation policy without any prior notice depending on the travel date & destination. 

  • For dynamic/non-refundable flights tripleela.com cancellation policy may not be applicable and 100% cancellation will be applicable from the time of confirmation.

  • In case the trip is being canceled by the traveler or tripleela.com due to natural calamity, government orders, strike, curfew, etc. cancellation policy would be applicable based on cancellation terms offered by the airlines or any service provider of tripleela.com

  • The traveler agrees that tripleela.com being an agent for facilitating the booking services shall not be responsible for any such circumstances and the customers have to contact that service provider directly for any further resolutions and refunds. The maximum liability of tripleela.com in such events will be to refund the booking amount subject to receipt from the airlines or any service provider.

  • There can be exceptional circumstances where airlines may be unable to honour the confirmed bookings due to various reasons like business exigencies, government decisions, terrorist activity, any operational and technical issues, route and flight cancellations, etc, or any other reason beyond the control of tripleela.com, If Trip Leela has advance knowledge of any such situations where dishonour of bookings may happen, it will make its best efforts to provide a similar alternative to the traveler or refund the booking amount after deducting applicable service charges, if supported and refunded by that respective airlines/service provider. The traveler agrees that tripleela.com being merely a facilitator of the services and products booked, cannot be held responsible for any such circumstance. The traveler also agrees to pay the extra cost arising due to such circumstances for the trip continuity.

  • Traveler's need to keep a check on the flight timings and movement as they are quite dynamic in nature and might be subject to frequent changes from the service provider. We advise you to check 72 hours prior to your flight departure on possible changes in flight timings and booking status.

Changes Terms & Conditions:

International Amendment Policy

"C Fees" means a non-refundable fee or token money deposited with Trip Leela at the time of booking by the Traveler.

If the Package is amended for any reason whatsoever the following amendment charges will apply.

Amendment procedure 

  • If you wish to amend your land package send us an email at ops@tripleela.com (Mail to be sent between 10:00 Am to 5:00 Pm on a working day, mails received after 5:00 Pm will be actioned on next working day).

  • If you wish to amend your flight booking send us an email at  ops@tripleela.com (Mail to be sent between 10:00 Am to 5:00 Pm on a working day, mails received after 5:00 Pm will be actioned on next working day).

Points to be Noted on the amendment policy

  • For any change in flight schedule including but not limited to altogether suspension of flight due to any such guideline/ SOP, Trip Leela shall not be held responsible.

  • Every booking made on Trip Leela is subject to amendment charges levied by the airline/hotels/service providers in addition to Trip Leela amendment charges as mentioned above.

  • If you amend your flight/land package booking, you will be charged the difference in fare/rates, if any, applicable when the amendment is made. However, if the new fare/rate is lower than the original fare, the difference in the amount will not be refunded, but the rebooking charges as applicable will be collected.

  • We'll collect these charges from you when we make the changes to your travel plans.

  • Depending on the airline's policy, hotel policy, and service provider policy some bookings may not be amended as 100% cancellation charges will be applicable from the date of confirmation or any other date before travel as per the airline's policy, hotel policy, and service provider policy.

  • If you wish to amend your air tickets 48 hours before your scheduled flight departure, contact the airline directly or send us an email at  ops@tripleela.com (Mail to be sent between 10:00 Am to 5:00 Pm on a working day, mails received after 5:00 Pm will be actioned on next working day). Trip Leela will not be able to provide 100% assistance for these amendments requests. Trip Leela will not be responsible in case the airline denies making any changes if the above-mentioned timeline is missed.

  • For flight booking confirmed on special fare, promotional fare and fixed departure fare are non-refundable or attract high amendment charges as per airlines terms and conditions.

  • No amendment requests for land services will be accepted 15 days before the departure date.

  • Amendment charges are non-refundable and applicable for every amendment request before the travel date (for example if a traveler requests land package amendments 3 times before the travel date, Trip Leela will charge INR 300 per amendment (total INR 900)).

  • Please note, TCS once collected cannot be refunded in case of any modification. You can claim the TCS amount as adjustment against Income Tax payable at the time of filing the return of income.

"Infant" means a person below the age of 2 years and “Child” means a person above the age of 2 years and below the age of 12 years.

 

If the Package is amended for any reason whatsoever the following amendment charges will apply.

 

Amendment procedure 

  • If you wish to amend your land package send us an email at ops@tripleela.com (Mail to be sent between 10:00 Am to 5:00 Pm on a working day, mails received after 5:00 Pm will be actioned on next working day).

  • If you wish to amend your flight booking send us an email at  flights@Tripleela.com (Mail to be sent between 10:00 Am to 5:00 Pm on a working day, mails received after 5:00 Pm will be actioned on next working day).

Points to be Noted on the amendment policy

  • For any change in flight schedule including but not limited to altogether suspension of flight due to any such guideline/ SOP, Trip Leela shall not be held responsible.

  • Every booking made on Trip Leela is subject to amendment charges levied by the airline/hotels/service providers in addition to Trip Leela amendment charges as mentioned above.

  • If you amend your flight/land package booking, you will be charged the difference in fare/rates, if any, applicable when the amendment is made. However, if the new fare/rate is lower than the original fare, the difference in the amount will not be refunded, but the rebooking charges as applicable will be collected.

  • We'll collect these charges from you when we make the changes to your travel plans.

  • Depending on the airline's policy, hotel policy, and service provider policy some bookings may not be amended as 100% cancellation charges will be applicable from the date of confirmation or any other date before travel as per the airline's policy, hotel policy, and service provider policy.

  • If you wish to amend your air tickets 48 hours before your scheduled flight departure, contact the airline directly or send us an email at ops@tripleela.com (Mail to be sent between 10:00 Am to 5:00 Pm on a working day, mails received after 5:00 Pm will be actioned on next working day). Trip Leela will not be able to provide 100% assistance for these amendments requests. Trip Leela will not be responsible in case the airline denies making any changes if the above-mentioned timeline is missed.

  • For flight booking confirmed on special fare, promotional fare and fixed departure fare are non-refundable or attract high amendment charges as per airlines terms and conditions.

  • No amendment requests for land services will be accepted 15 days before the departure date.

  • Amendment charges are non-refundable and applicable for every amendment request before the travel date (for example if a traveler request land package amendments 3 times before the travel date, tripleela will charge INR 300 per amendment (total INR 900)).

General Terms & Conditions:


PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE AGREEMENT CAREFULLY. BY USING THIS WEBSITE OR ORDERING PRODUCTS FROM THE COMPANY, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT.

DEFINITIONS

“Company” means Trip Leela (“also termed as “Trip Leela”) exclusively deals in the booking of Holiday Land Package.

"Service Provider" means hotelier or hotel owner, owner of any airlines or shipping company or railway ferryboat owner, coach owner, or any other person or organisation which has been selected to render services to the Traveler.

" Package" means a LAND PACKAGE (excluding flight) operated by Trip Leela & FLIGHT (if part of the package) sold on Traveler request basis only by Trip Leela, domestic or outside of India, but is not limited to, brochure tours, special tours, packages, cruise, sightseeing, carnival, cosmos, star cruise, etc.

"Package Cost" means the total booking cost of all the services booked by the Traveler for his/her tour.

"C Fees" means a non-refundable fee or token money deposited with Trip Leela at the time of booking by the Traveler.

"Infant" means a person below the age of 2 years and “Child” means a person above the age of 2 years and below the age of 12 years.

 

COVID-19 RELATED TERMS & CONDITIONS

Traveler agrees that due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19, which has been declared as a pandemic by the Government of India, there may be instances, where the end Service Provider either cancels the booking or refuses to provide the services, as agreed with the Traveler, by assigning or not assigning any specific reason for such refusal. Refusal of service may be due to the reasons including but not limited to the Traveler:

  • Exhibiting any symptoms associated with COVID 19.

  • Refusing to comply with safety advisories, like wearing protective gear, complying with social distancing norms, etc.

  • Suffering from any ailment making the Traveler vulnerable to the virus.

  • Posing a threat to the health and safety of others.

In such cases, Trip Leela will assume no liability for the refusal of service by the end service provider. The Traveler also agrees that refund, if any, for such bookings will be processed by Trip Leela to the Traveler subject to receipt of the same from the end Service Provider in the same form (cash or credit note) as has been received by Trip Leela.

Traveler further understands that due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the Central Government through its Ministries, State Governments and statutory bodies have/may come up with a detailed set of guidelines or Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that a traveler will have to follow in order to undertake the travel.

The Traveler agrees to abide by all such guidelines/SOP while undertaking any travel. Failure to abide by such a detailed set of guidelines/SOP may lead to a situation where the Service Provider or any person authorized by the Central Government, State Government, or statutory body may disallow the Traveler to undertake the travel. In such circumstances, Trip Leela will not be held liable for such refusal to travel, and refund, if any, shall be strictly as per the terms of the Service Provider.

Traveler understands that the Central Government, State Governments, and various other bodies, may mandate downloading of Arogya Setu App or submitting a self-declaration form prior to entering a transit point like airport, railway station, etc., or at the time of checking-in for a flight, into a hotel, etc. Accordingly, the Traveler must ensure downloading of Arogya Setu App and its operation at the time of travel in their smartphones or provide any other alternatives such as self-declaration when demanded.

Traveler undertakes that all bookings are subject to certain minimum medical wellbeing criteria specified by the Govt. / appropriate authority from time to time. The user should have no medical history of the COVID-19 virus 28 days (subject to change without prior notice) before the date of scheduled travel, especially in the case of inbound travel. In this regard, the User may be required to furnish a medical proof or health declaration in an applicable format.

NOTE: As per mandate by the Government of India all passengers arriving in India from International Flights need to register on www.newdelhiairport.in at least 72 hrs before departure (subject to change without prior notice).

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Your Travel is subject to the guidelines/SOP etc. issued by various Central/ State/ Country specific government/authorities for travel during COVID 19 relating to your travel destination. For your inability to Travel due to any such guideline/ SOP, Trip Leela shall not be held responsible and cancellation charges will be applicable as per the cancellation policy.

 

DOCUMENTS REQUIRE FOR PROCESSING THE INTERNATIONAL BOOKINGS

  • Passport copies (valid for 6 months till the completion date of the tour).

  • Embassies/Consulates/Immigration/Customs will not accept passports for travel in the below-mentioned conditions:

  1.   If the passport has been issued with a validity of 20 years.

  2.   If the passport is not machine-readable, i.e., if it is handwritten.

  3.   If the passport will expire within the next six months of the travel return date.

  4.   If Traveler does not have enough visa pages. There is no provision for additional booklets/pages.

  5.   If the passport is damaged in any way (such as water spots, torn pages, thread off).

  •  Effective from June 2018, as per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), it is mandatory to submit PAN details of all the Traveler(s). Trip Leela shall not be responsible in case there is any compliance issue in the absence of PAN Card information.

  • Any other documentary proof may be required by the concerned department from time to time.

 

ROLE OF Trip Leela AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Trip Leela does not control or operate any airline, shipping company, coach, hotel, transport vehicles, restaurant, kitchen caravan or any other facility or service mentioned in the Package/Quote.

Trip Leela shall not be responsible for any delay, improper service, the standard of service provided by any service provider or any Independent Contractor, or for any injury, death, loss, or damage which is caused by the act or default of any hotel, airline, shipping companies, cruise, coach owners, tour operators who are Trip Leela independent contractors.

Trip Leela shall not be responsible for any act or actions of co-travelers, co-passengers which may result in injury, damage to the life or limb or property of the Traveler, or which may lead to interference in enjoying or availing the services provided on the tour.

Trip Leela being merely a facilitator, shall not be liable for the following:

  • Personal injury, sickness, accident, death, loss, delay, discomfort, increased expenses, incidental, consequential loss and/or damage or any kind of theft howsoever caused to the Traveler or any person traveling with them.

  • Any act, omission, default of any travel agent or third party or any other person or by any servant or agent employed by them who may be engaged or concerned in the provision of accommodation, refreshment, carriage facility or service for the Traveler or for any person traveling with him /her.

  • The temporary or permanent loss of, or damage to, baggage or personal belongings howsoever caused including willful negligence on the part of any person.

  • Any delay made in the delivery of the service by the concerned service providers.

  • Failure on the part of the airline to accommodate passengers despite having confirmed tickets for any reason and any kind of loss thereafter as a result of it whatsoever including overbooking, change of route, etc. or failure on part of the hotel to allow check-in despite confirmed booking for whatever reason.

  • Any claims of any dispute with the local representative/service provider.

  • Any claim arising due to delays at the airport and if the Traveler has to wait at the airport or at the hotel for check-in due to any technical snag or any other reason not attributable to Trip Leela, Trip Leela shall not be liable for making any arrangements, including but not limited to food or any hotel arrangement in case of such delays.

  • Any damages caused to the Traveler due to reasons beyond the control of Trip Leela.

 In no event shall the entire liability of Trip Leela for any claims, directly and indirectly, arising out of the tour exceed the total booking amount paid by the Traveler.

There can be exceptional circumstances where the service operators like the airlines, hotels, the respective transportation providers or concerns may be unable to honour the confirmed bookings due to various reasons like pandemic, epidemic, climatic conditions, labor unrest, insolvency, business exigencies, government decisions, operational and technical issues, route and flight cancellations, etc. If Trip Leela is informed in advance of such situations where dishonour of bookings may happen, it will make its best efforts to provide a similar alternative to its Traveler's or refund the booking amount after reasonable service charges, subject to support and refund by that respective service operators. The Traveler agrees that Trip Leela being an agent for facilitating the booking services shall not be responsible for any such circumstances and the customers have to contact that service provider directly for any further resolutions and refunds. The maximum liability of Trip Leela in such events will be to refund the booking amount subject to receipt from the Service Providers.

All the information pertaining to the hotel including the category of the hotel, images, room type, amenities, and facilities available at the hotel are as per the information provided by the hotel directly or indirectly to Trip Leela. This information is for reference only. Any discrepancy that may exist between the website pictures and actual settings of the hotel shall be raised by the Traveler with the hotel directly and shall be resolved between the Traveler and the hotel. Trip Leela will have no responsibility in that process of resolution and shall not take any liability for such discrepancies.

 

TRAVELER’S RESPONSIBILITY

Traveler(s) are advised to check the description of the services and products carefully before making a booking. Traveler(s) agree to be bound by all the conditions as contained in the final quotation/booking confirmation or as laid out in the confirmed booking voucher.

If a Customer intends to make a booking on behalf of another person or in case of a group booking, it shall be the responsibility of the Customer to inform Traveler about the terms of the Package, including all the general rules, rules related to refund and restrictions applicable thereto.

The Traveler undertakes to abide by all procedures and guidelines, as modified from time to time, in connection with the use of the services available through Trip Leela. The Traveler further undertakes to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, orders, directions, etc. issued by either the Central Government, State Government, District Authorities, or any other statutory body empowered to do so w.r.t use of services or for each transaction.

The Traveler also authorizes Trip Leela representatives to contact over the phone, message, and email. This consent shall supersede any preferences set by Traveler through the national customer preference register (NCPR) or any other similar preferences.

 

REFUND POLICY

Trip Leela is only a facilitator and any refund for any service(s) which are not delivered by the service provider/Independent Contractors or for any reason for which the Traveler is entitled to a refund is subject to Trip Leela receiving the amount from the said service provider. Traveler acknowledges that Trip Leela shall not be held liable for any delay in refund, a refund in form of a credit note, or non-refund of the amount from the respective Service Provider or Independent Contractors of Trip Leela. In such events, the User shall directly approach the service provider for any claims.

In case the Traveler makes any changes in their accommodation while on the Tour, Trip Leela shall not refund or pay compensation in any manner whatsoever. The Traveler would also be liable to pay any additional sum that is required to be paid consequent to the aforesaid changes made in the accommodation.

Airline refunds will be processed as per the airline fare rules and cancellation policy. Such refunds shall be subject to Trip Leela receiving the same from the airlines. However, the convenience fee paid to Trip Leela at the time of booking is a non-refundable fee.

All cancellations made directly by the Traveler with the airline/hotels need to be intimated to Trip Leela, in order to initiate the process of refund. The processing time for refunds may vary depending on the mode of payment, bank, etc. The refund shall be processed after deducting the Trip Leela service fee which is independent of the convenience fee as mentioned above.

The refund will be credited to the same account from which the payment was made. For example, if the Traveler used a credit card, Trip Leela will make an appropriate charge reversal to the same credit card; likewise, if the Traveler used a debit card, Trip Leela will credit the money to the same debit card.

In the event of cancellation and refund, upfront discount and promo code discount availed at the time of booking would be deducted from the refund amount.

In the event of cancellation of international bookings, a refund/credit note will be processed deducting the TCS amount. TCS amount can be claimed by the travelers during their annual return filing.

Refund Time Period – Subject to receiving a refund from the hotel, DMC, airlines, or any service provider of Trip Leela, it may take up to 30 - 60 working days for processing the refund. Though we take our sincere efforts to process the refund as soon we receive the same from the airline/supplier, however, it may get delayed due to circumstances beyond our control.

 

GST INVOICING

  • Trip Leela only deals in land package including transportation (EXCEPT FLIGHT) and does not sell any flights unless requested by the Traveler.

  • In case flight services are offered in any tour package by Trip Leela on Traveler(s) request, it will be invoiced separately and will not be a part of the land package invoice.

     

 FORCE MAJEURE

There can be exceptional circumstances where Trip Leela and/or the Service Providers may be unable to honour the confirmed bookings due to various reasons like an act of God, labor unrest, insolvency, a pandemic, an epidemic, business exigencies, government decisions, terrorist activity, any operational and technical issues, route and flight cancellations, etc. or any other reason beyond the control of Trip Leela. If Trip Leela has advance knowledge of any such situations where dishonour of bookings may happen, it will make its best efforts to provide a similar alternative to the Traveler or refund the booking amount after deducting applicable service charges, if supported and refunded by that respective service operators. The Traveler agrees that Trip Leela being merely a facilitator of the services and products booked, cannot be held responsible for any such Force Majeure circumstance. The Traveler has to contact the Service Provider directly for any further resolutions and refunds.

The Traveler agrees that in the event of non-confirmation of booking due to any technical reasons (like network downtime, disconnection with third-party platforms such as payment gateways, banks, etc.) or any other similar failures, Trip Leela obligation shall be limited to refunding the booking amount, if any, received from the customer. Such refund shall completely discharge Trip Leela from all liabilities with respect to that transaction. Additional liabilities, if any, shall be borne by the Traveler.

In no event shall Trip Leela be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and any other damages like damages for loss of use, data, or profits, arising out of or in any way connected with the use or performance of the Website or any other Sales Channel.

 

RIGHT TO CANCEL

The Traveler expressly undertakes to provide Trip Leela with correct and valid information. Any default on part of the Traveler would disentitle the Traveler from availing the services from Trip Leela.

In case Trip Leela discovers or has reasons to believe at any time during or after receiving a request for services from the Traveler that the request for services is either unauthorised or the information provided by the Traveler or any of the traveler’s is not correct or that any fact has been misrepresented by that Traveler, Trip Leela shall be entitled to appropriate legal remedies against the Traveler, including cancellation of the bookings, without any prior intimation to the Traveler. In such an event, Trip Leela shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage that may be caused to the Traveler or any other person in the booking, because of such cancellation of booking or services.

The Traveler shall not hold Trip Leela responsible for any loss or damage arising out of measures taken by Trip Leela for safeguarding its own interest and that of its genuine customers. This would also include Trip Leela denying or canceling any bookings on account of suspected fraud transactions.

 

INDEMNIFICATION

The Traveler agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Trip Leela, its affiliates and their respective officers, directors, lawful successors and assigns from and against any and all losses, liabilities, claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including legal fees and disbursements in connection therewith and interest chargeable thereon) asserted against or incurred by such indemnified persons, that arise out of, result from, or may be payable by virtue of, any breach of any representation or warranty provided by the Traveler, or non-performance of any covenant by the Traveler.

The Traveler shall be solely liable for any breach of any country-specific rules and regulations, or general code of conduct and Trip Leela cannot be held responsible for the same.

Disclaimer: Trip Leela is merely a facilitation platform providing easy and convenient access to reservations. Due to the volatile nature of the aviation industry, airlines may delay and default in the refund of tickets. Trip Leela shall be able to process customer refunds against flight tickets only if the same has been refunded by the respective Airline. In the event an airline discontinues its operations, Trip Leela will not be accountable for any customer refunds wherein the same has not been refunded by the airline.

 

TAX COLLECTED AT SOURCE (TCS) INFORMATION FOR INTERNATIONAL BOOKINGS

Please Note : On submitting your PAN details, your ITR information will be subjected to verification for the TCS calculation purpose. In case you haven’t filed your ITR for the past 2 years, you will have to pay an additional 5% post payment.

“As per Income Tax Act,1961, the TCS@5% has been added to the amount payable for booking overseas package. In case PAN is not provided TCS@10% will be applicable. You will be able to take the credit of such TCS against Income tax payable or by claiming refund at the time of filing income tax return. However as per RBI guidelines, collection of PAN card details has been mandatory for all international bookings. So, please share your PAN card details in next steps to proceed with the booking”

TCS credit would reflect in your Form 26AS on quarterly basis. You may also request TCS certificate from tripleela.com

Charged TCS can be claimed against the tax payable at the time of filing the return

In case there is no tax payable, you can claim the refund of TCS amount at the time of filing income tax return.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Rates are subject to change without prior notice in case of any changes in airport taxes, hotel rates, transport rates, Government taxes, or entrance fees, or any other service.

  • International check-in time is 14:00 to 15:00 hours and check-out time is 11:00 to 12:00 hours (mentioned time is standard across destinations but subject to change without prior notice).

  • The rates offered are valid for Indian nationals only.

  • In case of unavailability in the listed Hotels, Airlines, Tours, etc alternate arrangements will be made of a similar standard.

  • All Tickets/Bookings confirmed shall additionally be governed under the terms and conditions as laid out by the respective airlines/service providers. By accepting Trip Leela terms and conditions, the Traveler is also agreeing to the terms & conditions of the respective airline/Service Providers.

  • Flight schedules and timings are subject to regulatory approvals and change(s).

  • Trip Leela will provide a proposed itinerary to the user before the booking. Such a proposed itinerary shall be subject to changes. The confirmed booking details and hotel vouchers will be sent to the Traveler before departure and after payment of the entire booking amount shall be final.

  • The Package price is subject to increase without any prior notice if this rate substantially changes prior to departure, then the Traveler would be required to pay such incremental tour cost before the departure.

  • The days and nights of the itinerary are decided as per the availability of hotels and airlines. No claims regarding full utilization of the last day or inclusion in the tour shall be valid.

  • Trip Leela takes all reasonable steps at the time of finalising the itinerary for the User to ensure that the itinerary is as per the convenience and comfort of the Traveler. However, in the event of a change in the itinerary, Trip Leela would inform the Traveler accordingly before the departure of the Traveler on the Tour.

  • Further, in the event of any change beyond the control of Trip Leela in the itinerary of the User post departure for tour, Trip Leela shall inform the User accordingly as and when such a change occurs. Trip Leela shall not be held responsible in any manner whatsoever for any loss that a Traveler might suffer consequent to such a change.

  • Trip Leela reserves the right to claim any additional expenses on account of delays or changes in the itinerary, caused by any reason whatsoever.

  • Trip Leela reserves the right to amend, alter, vary, or withdraw any particular departure, excursion or substitute a hotel of similar category, or any other aspect of the itinerary if deemed advisable or necessary.

  • Trip Leelawill not entertain any change in the itinerary at the request of the Traveler after booking, as such change might disarray the entire tour. However, Trip Leela may, in its sole discretion and subject to availability, provide changes in the itinerary made at the request of the Traveler. Traveler agrees to pay the additional cost incurred due to such change/cancellation.

  • Trip Leela takes all reasonable steps at the time of selecting the hotels that form a part of the Package. The selection is based on an internal assessment of the respective hotels and such hotels selected are usually the best in the respective categories. Trip Leela endeavors to provide details of the hotel to the User in advance of vide proposed itinerary. However, Trip Leela reserves the right to change hotels before booking, subject to availability or any other reason beyond its control.

  • Once the Traveler opts for a certain category or star rating of a hotel, later no claim or dispute with regard to the star category or type of the hotel shall be entertained by Trip Leela.

  • Trip Leela would not be held liable or to make good any inconvenience or discomfort caused to the Traveler due to but not limited to the insufficient services provided at the hotel. Trip Leela acts as a facilitator between the Traveler and the hotel and would under no circumstances be held responsible for inadequate services provided by the hotel.

  • The user shall be responsible for his/ her baggage and valuables. Trip Leela shall not be liable for any loss of baggage or theft of Traveler(s) articles during their stay in the hotels or any time during the tour.

  • In the event that the Traveler misses out on any activity or any meal on the tour due to delay on his part, Trip Leela would not be held liable to refund the money paid for the same.
